Tiranё, 28 Qershor 2012 – Ambasada PINK/LGBT Pro Shqipёri priti sot takimin e parё konsultativ me organizatat e shoqёrisё civile nё Shqipёri dhe institucionet publike nё vend me qёllim nisjen e pёrgatitjeve tё koordinuara pёr organizimin e Paradёs sё Parё zyrtare nё mbrojtje dhe pёrkrahje tё tё drejtave tё komunitetit LGBT nё Shqipёri.
Pas eksperiencёs pozitive nё organizimin e Festivalit tё Diversitetit nё Maj 2012, me pёrkrahjen e institucioneve tё pavarura tё tё drejtave tё njeriut, komunitetit LGBT nё Shqipёri, shoqёrisё civile, Qeverisё shqiptare dhe komunitetit ndёrkombёtar, Ambasada PINK / LGBT Pro Shqipёri inicioi sot punёn pёr krijimin e Komitetit Organizator tё Parada e Tiranёs 2013, i cili do tё udhёheqё organizimin e eventeve dhe aktiviteteve, qё do tё kulmojnё me marshimin e Paradёs LGBT nё Bulevardin Dёshmorёt e Kombit.
Parada e Tiranёs 2013 do tё pёrbёjё njё risi nё jetёn sociale dhe politike tё Tiranёs, por edhe tё tё gjithё Shqipёrisё, pasi pёr herё tё parё nё historinё e vendit tonё, komuniteti LGBT, familjet dhe mbёshtetёsit e tyre, shoqёria civile me mbёshtetjen edhe tё institucioneve publike, organizatat LGBT nga Ballkani dhe Europa, do tё marshojnё pёrgjatё Bulevardit “Dёshmorёt e Kombit” duke mbajtur flamurin LGBT pёr tё kёrkuar respekt, barazi dhe dinjitet pёr tё drejtat e njё ndёr komuniteteve mё tё pёrndjekura nё Shqipёri.
Parada e Tiranёs 2013 do tё pёrbёjё edhe njё sfidё pёr mentalitetin e vjetёr, i cili paragjykon, diskriminon, dhunon, pёrjashton apo kёrkon lёnien nё harresё tё pёrsonave me orientim seksual dhe identitet tё ndryshёm nga ai i shumicёs sё popullёsisё, pёr shkak sepse ata shfaqin orientimin e tyre seksual haptazi nё publik.
Organizing Committee for Tirana Pride 2013 is established
Tirana, June 28th 2012 – PINK Embassy/LGBT Pro Albania hosted today the first consultative meeting with Albanian civil society organizations and public institutions in the country in order to start coordinated preparations for the organization of the first official parade for the protection of LGBT community rights in Albania.
After the positive experience of May 2012 with the organization of the Diversity Festival, together with independent human rights institutions, the LGBT community in Albania, civil society, Albanian government and international community, PINK Embassy/LGBT Pro Albania initiated today its work for the creation of the Organizing Committee for the Tirana Pride 2013 which will lead the organization of activities which will culminate with the parade march at the “Dёshmorёt e Kombit” boulevard.
The Tirana Pride 2013 will be an innovation in the social and political life of Tirana and of all Albania, because for the first time in the country’s history, the LGBT community, families and their supporters and civil society with the support of public institutions, LGBT organizations from the Balkans and Europe will march along the “Dёshmorёt e Kombit” boulevard by holding the LGBT flag in order to ask for respect, equality and dignity for the rights of the LGBT community in Albania.
The Tirana Pride 2013 will challenge the old mentalities, which prejudice, discriminate, violate, exclude and ask for the people of different sexual orientation and gender identities to be left aside because they disclose their sexual identities openly.
